Pomona Environment

The Australian bush has been well preserved in the Pomona area, so there is abundant wildlife including kangaroos, wombats, bandicoots, echidnas and koalas.

Tawny Frogmouth

Many species of native birds are to be sighted, including the lovely king parrots, white hooded parrots, lorrikeets, tawny frogmouths, sulphur crested and black cockatoos.

A wide variety of eucalypts are to be found - ironbarks, bloodwood, brush box and flooded gums. There are also native orchids, melaleucas and wattles.
